Printable Parties

Hi

I have recently been designing a party for my next door neighbours little girl which has gone down very well so far, therefore I am thinking of offering printable party stationery & decorations via my Folksy shop. This is something I'd love to get into, along with sourcing unusual decorations for the parties from other independent designers. I am not quite sure how this is going to work as yet and therefore would welcome any feedback as I go. I will post my ideas here so please email me or leave a comment, any advice would be appreciated.

Exciting weekend

I hope that you have all had a good weekend and enjoyed the sunshine (if you had any). On Saturday we spent most of the day looking at puppies *GRIN* Since we moved into our new house (last year) we have talked about getting a dog and this gorgeous weather we are having in the UK at the moment spurred me on to look at adverts for Labrador Pups. We saw 3 litters and the last litter was the one we went with. We met the mum, she was so placid and gorgeous looking and saw a photo of the dad who is also very handsome. We did meet the pups - 9 in all, but they are only two weeks old at the moment so didn't pick one, we can go back in a few weeks time and pick which one we want (we get first choice!).

Just a quick one today as I am catching up with things after such a long time off. I recently came across this Gourmet Sugar company and felt that I just had to share with you. I hope that you like them too.

Fantastic

Well I'm back and I had the most amazing time! wow what a holiday, it was hot every day (around 30 degrees) and the hotel & resort were lovely. It was so nice to get away and forget about all the stress of the past year and totally relax. One of the days we went on a catamaran and saw dolphins....stunning!
The food was lovely and the pool not too busy and the staff so friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone who can afford it. But to top it all the best thing was that physically and mentally I felt better than I have in years - you can't ask for better than that.

A break, a break, a break!

Today I am off on holiday! but not just any ol' holiday, whilst I was in my hospital bed recovering from my bowel cancer surgery last year I vowed to myself that I would go somewhere exotic :-) After all that happened and feeling so rubbish I figured that life is too short and you never know what is around the corner, so now that I am feeling so much better, myself and my other half Paul are off to Mauritius for 10 days! *GRIN* luckily I have a friend who works for BA and she managed to get us a fab deal, we'll be in a tres posh hotel (fingers crossed that it's nice) and I'm so excited!

Anyway, have a fab few weeks all! :-)
