Dotty Daisies

Just a quick one, as I have taken today and yesterday to spend some time with my lovely fella. He treated me to a spa day yesterday and today we are just chilling and off to see Toy Story 3 in 3D later.

My Studio

I'm one of those people who loves to see where other people work from. My studio isn't as perfect as some I have seen in books and on other blogs, but I consider myself lucky to have such a dedicated space to work from. My room is rammed full of materials, inspiration and my lovely mac.

Boys Sleepwear

Today I wanted to show you some boys sleepwear I worked on a few months back. I don't often work on boys, so it was fun to have a go. I loved drawing my robot and I am glad to say that he has gone down really well.

Angel Cat Sugar

Sorry I haven't been blogging much just lately, I haven't been feeling too good. I'm back now though. I promised that I would show you some of the work I have been doing recently. A few months back, I was asked to design stationery using a very limited 'Angel Cat Sugar' styleguide. I also had to come up with the look of the stationery and the the additional extras e.g. dangly bits and use of flitter. Here are a couple of visuals.

Mock up service

Thanks everyone for your kind comments on my photoshop mock up.

I have been thinking about setting up some sort of service, for me to offer other surface pattern designers a mock up service, putting their designs onto product, but I am not sure that it would be something people would be interested in, as most pattern designers can either use photoshop themselves or know someone that can.

Your feedback and thoughts on this would be gladly received. Or if any of you know of a service which is similar, I'd be interested in hearing about that too.

40!!!!!!!

I am happy today, because I now have 40 followers! Thank you so much to all of you, for spreading the word about my blog. I should be getting some more of my own work up in the following weeks, I've had to wait a few months until the client has produced what I have designed, but now I have permission to show them.
