What Katie Did Next

I've just come across this website full of hand stitched goodies from Katie Levett-Allen. She is based in Surrey (not far from where I am moving to!) and she loves to be creative, particularly in freehand embroidery. I have always been scared of a sewing machine, so I am particularly in awe of her work. Check out her website here and here are a few samples from her shop

Scratch & Sniff

I just came across these 'Scratch & Sniff' stickers which I collected when I was a teenager, wow, what a blast from the past! I collected stickers for a number of years, but these were my favourites. Does anyone else remember them?

40th birthday cont.

Finally was my party on Saturday which was at a local village hall. My theme was Snow in colours blue, white & silver. I had great fun (and a lot of stress) making this table of goodies:

I had a great time and felt very honoured to be surrounded by my good friends and family.

From the Dorchester, we got a cab to Covent Garden where we looked around some fab stores, The Apple store, Oakley, Accessorize and Paperchase, Whilst in there I fell in love with these gorgeous products:

After Selfridges we got a black cab to The Dorchester on Park Lane! we had an amazing cocktail in the bar and then champagne afternoon tea, here are a few photos:

Full Time Fashion Graphic Designer wanted Barcelona

My 40th Birthday

I just wanted to tell you about my birthday, my boyfriend told me that he was taking me to London and I had to dress up, but I didn't know where I was going. He took me to Selfridges and we went to Tiffany's where he had reserved me a snowflake necklace (to match the theme of my party).

We then had a mooch around Selfridges where I thoroughly enjoyed looking around the stationery dept. I fell in love with the Orla Kiely gift boxes & bags;

The Real Flower Company

What with moving to Guildford in the Summer I have been researching the local area and came across this most amazing company. How utterly gorgeous are these flowers arranged & sold by The Real Flower Company . They are based in Petersfield & grow their own roses, foliages & herbs at their farms in both Hampshire & Kenya. You can order online or via their shop in Midhurst or Selfridges London. Wouldn't it just be an ultra special day to receive something so amazing.
