Orange

I am loving bright orange at the moment, I'm not really sure why as I usually go for darker autumnal colours, however I am not brave enough to wear it (apart from maybe a nail varnish) so how about these home accessories!

That said though, this one would go better with my current colour scheme, hopefully you guys are braver than me and invest in the orange!

Over the past few months I have come across a number of gorgeous crafts rooms and studios. I thought it would be nice to share them with you this week. I'm sorry but I can't remember where I found them, so if anyone recognises a photo and wants it removed please feel free to email me.

I hope that they are an inspiration to you guys too. I'd love my new studio to look like a mixture of these!

I've just come across this website full of hand stitched goodies from Katie Levett-Allen. She is based in Surrey (not far from where I am moving to!) and she loves to be creative, particularly in freehand embroidery. I have always been scared of a sewing machine, so I am particularly in awe of her work. Check out her website here and here are a few samples from her shop

As many of you may know 'Sock it to me' are currently running a competition. I have entered but in honesty don't really expect to get anywhere as there will be thousands of entrants. However I had fun coming up with something that I would like to wear myself, not too in ya face.
