Lazy Summer

I am very excited today because I have just received samples of my very first Scrapbooking range launched  this month.

Here is a quick picture of the range I got in the post this morning, sorry, it is a bit of a rubbish photo! I'll post a better one when I get one.

As you know I am moving house in the summer and I have been browsing the internet for white French style furniture, which I love but can probably never afford. Whilst searching I came across Little Lucy Willow - a Children's Furniture & Accessories website. I have fallen in love with the range I show below, however I don't have kids so won't ever indulge. Tiny Hands

As you've probably gathered by now I am on a diet, I have been doing really well though & lost over a stone in two months! anyway going without the good things in life such as cake, ice cream & chocolate is REALLY difficult, as on the diet I am on I'm not even allowed a small amount. Therefore coming across tinyhandsonline.com was a bit of a double edged sword, Mei sells these gorgeous miniature goodies in the form of jewellery, looking at them made me want sweet stuff even more, but I just had to show them to you as they are just wonderful. Here are a few piccies!

This is Smudge

Today I wanted to introduce you to the new addition to my family, his name is Smudge & he has been with me since Sunday. Unfortunately I had to have my last bunny put to sleep just before Christmas (I used to have 4 at one point!), she was 8 so a good age & I have been missing her, so I went to see a breeder in Surrey & ended up coming home with this little cutie.


He is an 11 week old mini lop. He lives in my house at the moment and I let him in the garden for a few hours a day, he is like a little dog in that he lies by my feet in the living room :-)  he also has a big plastic box in my studio where he chills out while I am working (see the last piccie), he is a very relaxed bunny and so friendly, however having him around has meant that not much work has been going on!

Today I wanted to show you some concepts I worked on in the summer for a range of Mothersday gifts. I loved working on this project, but the deadline was very tight and I had other projects on the go at the same time which had to take a back seat, very stressful but great fun.
